the making

Every Piece Begins With an Idea.

Sometimes it starts as a sketch. Sometimes with a gemstone, an object, a memory, or a shape found in nature.

From there, I choose the method that best suits the design. Some pieces are carved and sculpted by hand in wax, while others are developed through CAD when the form calls for greater precision or a different kind of construction.

Both approaches ultimately become physical wax models before being transformed into precious metal.

The process is a meeting of traditional craft and modern technology, with the final piece always receiving a human touch.

The Process

1. Sketch

Ideas begin in notebooks and loose drawings.

2. Wax

Each piece is sculpted by hand in wax.

3. Casting

The wax is transformed into metal through the ancient lost-wax casting process.

4. Finishing

Every surface is refined and finished by hand.

5. Setting

Natural gemstones are selected and set individually.

6. Ready To Be Worn

A future heirloom leaves the studio.
