Terms of Service
MOLLY PADDOCK JEWELRY
Last updated: October 29, 2026Welcome to Molly Paddock Jewelry. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of our website, https://www.mollypaddockjewelry.com, and any purchases made through our online store.
Throughout these terms, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Molly Paddock Jewelry. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service and our applicable store policies. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.
OUR WEBSITE AND SERVICES
Molly Paddock Jewelry offers handcrafted jewelry, including pieces made using traditional goldsmithing techniques, natural gemstones, and contemporary design methods.
Our website is hosted on Squarespace, which provides the platform through which we display and sell our products.
We reserve the right to update our website, modify our offerings, or discontinue products at our discretion, subject to applicable law and any existing obligations to customers.
PRODUCTS AND CRAFTSMANSHIP
Our jewelry is designed and crafted with care. Because our pieces are handmade, small variations in shape, texture, finish, and other details may occur. These characteristics are part of the nature of handcrafted work.
Natural gemstones may vary in color, clarity, inclusions, shape, and appearance. Such variations are inherent to natural materials and do not necessarily indicate a defect.
We make reasonable efforts to display our jewelry accurately through photographs, descriptions, and measurements. However, colors and details may appear differently depending on your screen, lighting, and device settings. Product photographs are not necessarily shown to scale.
Please review the individual product description and contact us if you have questions about a piece before purchasing.
ORDERS AND PAYMENT
By placing an order, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete and that you are authorized to use the selected payment method.
Payments are processed through the payment options available at checkout. Your payment may be authorized or charged when your order is placed.
We reserve the right to decline, cancel, or limit an order where reasonably necessary, including in cases of suspected fraud, payment issues, inventory errors, pricing errors, or other legitimate business reasons. If payment has been collected for an order we cancel, we will arrange an appropriate refund.
If we need to change or cancel an order, we will make reasonable efforts to contact you using the information provided at checkout.
An order confirmation acknowledges receipt of your order but does not guarantee that an item is available or that the order has been finally accepted for fulfillment.
PRICING AND TAXES
All prices are displayed in the currency indicated on our website and are subject to change before an order is placed.
Applicable sales taxes and shipping charges will be displayed at checkout where required. Customers are responsible for applicable charges disclosed before completing their purchase.
If a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a genuine error, we reserve the right to correct the error and contact affected customers before fulfillment. If an order is canceled because of a pricing error after payment has been collected, an appropriate refund will be issued.
MADE-TO-ORDER JEWELRY AND PROCESSING TIMES
Many of our pieces are handcrafted or made to order. Please allow approximately two weeks for your order to be prepared for shipment, unless a different timeframe is stated on the product page or communicated to you directly.
This processing period is separate from shipping transit time. Delivery estimates depend on the shipping method selected and the carrier’s performance.
If you need a piece by a particular date or have questions about its availability, please contact us before ordering at hello@mollypaddockjewelry.com.
We will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant delays. Processing times are estimates rather than guaranteed delivery dates unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
Shipping methods, costs, and available destinations are presented during checkout where applicable.
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. Additional charges or delays resulting from incorrect addresses or undeliverable packages may be the customer’s responsibility where permitted by law.
Tracking information will be provided when available. Once an order has shipped, delivery timing is largely determined by the carrier. If a shipment is delayed, lost, or appears to have been delivered incorrectly, please contact us so we can help investigate.
Nothing in this section limits rights or remedies that may apply under applicable law.
RETURNS, EXCHANGES, AND FINAL SALE ITEMS
Returns and exchanges are governed by our Returns & Exchanges Policy, which forms part of these Terms of Service.
Eligible, full-price jewelry may be returned within 14 days of delivery, subject to the conditions described in that policy. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs and are encouraged to use an appropriately tracked and insured service.
Discounted jewelry, custom and bespoke commissions, personalized or engraved pieces, and items resized or altered at the customer’s request are final sale, except where otherwise required by applicable law.
Please review our complete Returns & Exchanges Policy before purchasing.
CUSTOM AND BESPOKE COMMISSIONS
Custom and bespoke jewelry involves individual design work, materials, and craftsmanship tailored to a customer’s request.
Project scope, design approvals, pricing, deposits, production timelines, and any applicable cancellation terms will be communicated separately before a commission proceeds.
Custom work may involve non-refundable design fees or deposits where those terms are clearly disclosed and agreed upon in advance, subject to applicable law. Changes requested after approval may affect the price and completion timeline.
Due to the personalized nature of bespoke work, custom commissions are generally final sale, except where required by law or otherwise agreed in writing.
No custom project will be considered approved solely because an initial inquiry has been submitted. Written confirmation of the agreed scope and terms may be required before production begins.
JEWELRY CARE AND REPAIRS
Jewelry requires appropriate care to preserve its appearance and condition. Natural gemstones, delicate settings, and handcrafted details may be affected by impact, chemicals, moisture, heat, improper cleaning, or everyday wear.
Customers are responsible for following any care instructions provided with their jewelry and using appropriate cleaning and storage methods.
If a piece requires repair or maintenance, please contact hello@Mollypaddockjewelry.com before sending it to us. Repair availability, costs, and timelines will be assessed individually.
This section does not limit any rights you may have regarding defective products under applicable law.

INDEMNIFICATION

This provision does not apply to the extent a claim results from our own unlawful conduct or other circumstances for which you cannot legally be held responsible.
GOVERNING LAW
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Any dispute will be handled by a court or other forum with appropriate jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights or protections available under applicable law.
CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes to our business, website, products, or legal obligations.
The revised terms will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Changes will apply as permitted by law and will not retroactively remove rights that customers already have under applicable law.
