About

Molly Paddock

I have always been drawn to objects that carry stories.

Ancient coins worn smooth by generations of hands. Curious objects found while traveling. Small treasures gathered from walks through woods and along the sea. I’ve always been fascinated by the way ordinary things can become meaningful simply because we choose to keep them.

Today, I create jewelry that explores that connection between adornment, memory, and wonder.
Each piece begins as a sculpture carved by hand in wax before being cast and finished in precious metal. Inspired by folklore, natural history, old-world craftsmanship, and the beauty of imperfect materials, I create jewelry meant to feel discovered rather than manufactured—objects that seem to carry a story of their own.

For more than six years, I have worked in the jewelry industry, developing a deep appreciation for gemstones, craftsmanship, and the enduring power of adornment. I am a graduate of the Gemological Institute of America in Diamonds and Colored Stones, an education that continues to inform my approach to design and material selection.
I believe the objects we wear become part of our stories. They gather memories, mark important moments, and travel through life alongside us. A ring may celebrate a promise, a pendant may become a daily companion, and a treasured piece may one day be passed to another generation.

My hope is that each piece leaves the studio beautiful, but becomes truly valuable through the life lived alongside it.
From my bench in Charleston, South Carolina.
